Harry Wilkinson is Professor Emeritus, West Chester University of Pennsylvania, theory and organ. He chaired the Theory - Composition Dept. for nearly ten years. He holds the Ph.D. - theory - Eastman School of Music, and is a Fellow of the American Guild of Organists. He chaired the A.G.O. Nationall Examination Committee (as then titled), 1973-1980; was program chair for the 1964 A.G.O. National Convention (Philadelphia), and the 1977 International Congress of Organists. For years he was organist-choirmaster of the Church of the St. Martin-in-the-Fields; and now plays at Old St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Philadelphia. He has given recitals in Paris - St-Denis, Notre-Dame, Sacre-Coeur- , England - York Minster and parish churches - , and eastern U.S. He has studied with Harold Gleason, David Craighead, Ernest White, and Harry C. Banks.
