Critics' Comments

The American Organist If you, like us, have occasionally had a generational clash while planning wedding music, get this CD, ‘a cool ’ This CD is something else, ad we urge Miss Suzy and Dr. Pedalthumper to get it for the good of their souls. - Vernon Gotwals

The Organ Proceeds from the sale of this CD benefit the Great Organ Restoration Fund of the Cathedral Church of St John the Divine, New York City. ... Dorothy Papadakos was appointed organistt in 1990. becoming the first woman to hold this prestigious position. With a widely-based training not only in church music but also in jazz. cabaret, ballet and the theatre, she brings an entirely new dimension to the post of Cathedral Organist and in this CD she and her colleagues show us that if we will only take the trouble to look, there is a vast amount of good wedding music that can be performed for a wide variety of circumstance. Whether we can do as well as St John the Divine is doubtful. - DRC
